Craft and visual details

Craft is care and discernment at different elevations, polish in service of someone or something, manifesting physically, behaviorally, and systemically. In that spirit, see select patterns, interactions, assets, and page designs I've contributed at Dropbox.

Interaction Assets Web design
01 · Product patterns
UI and animation. Motion in collaboration with Kyle Davidson.

Patterns and interactions

Upload and e-sign flow pattern
Driving understanding of eSignature workflow
A pattern for showing progression across a workflow. After explorations of the UI element, I brought it to life with motion: hover and select states, icon animation, and a line gradient marking progress.
Dropbox Sign testimonial cards
Playfully building trust in our product
Metrics drive impact up front, and testimonials get revealed on hover, so the page stays light and playful. It shows impact and social proof on a surface where we drive users to book a demo.
02 · Brand assets
Designed in collaboration with brand designer Brenna Potter.

Designed end to end, discovery through ship.

Acquisition surfaces on Dropbox.com

Dropbox Sign acquisition landing page
Lead generation landing page for Dropbox Sign
Trust is the blocker on this buy, so the security badges and G2 ratings sit high on the page instead of at the bottom. Everything else is in service of getting the demo request submitted.
Dropbox Dash marketing site concept
Awareness and education for integrations with Dropbox's AI product, Dash
The challenge was giving enough context on each integration without turning the page into a wall of text. Logos drive recognition, and a concise line of copy per app drives context, so people can scan quickly and find the app most relevant to them.
Dropbox Dash Airtable integration page concept
Integration detail page, Airtable
A modular template that scaled to 30+ connectors. Each page leads with the job it unblocks, with prompts for our target personas sitting right next to the conversion points. The goal is getting new users to download Dash for an integration, and helping existing users get more out of what they already have.
04 · Design systems
Discovery, audit, research, explorations, ship, documentation and QA.

Foundational systems

I inventoried Dropbox's web design system, reduced tech debt across the library, and documented what other teams build on.
